    Q. What do I need to work as a Registered Nurse in the United States? top
    A. In order to work as a RN in the United States, you must have a current valid United States Nursing License. Filipino Nurses should show proficiency in speaking, writing and reading English.

    Q. What is a VisaScreen?  top
    A. A VisaScreen is a program offered by ICHP, International Commission on Healthcare Professions, that meets federal visa requirements for screening of nurses and other healthcare professionals who seek entry into the United States. ICHP enables nurses to meet this requirement by verifying and evaluating their credentials to ensure compliance with the United States government's minimum eligibility standards.(For your VisaScreen application click HERE) A VisaScreen Certificate is needed prior to issuance of an Immigrant Visa.

    Q. What makes your company different from a REGISTRY? top
    A. Our company is not a REGISTRY. Our company will get you hired by an American Hospital. You will be an employee of that hospital. You will be granted all the benefits offered by the hospital to all its employees. Your paycheck will come directly from the hospital. If you get recruited by a Registry, you will be an employee of that Registry and not of any hospital. The hospital or nursing home you will be working for is not your employer. The hospital or nursing home will not be giving you any benefits. You may have to work in different hospital or nursing home at any given time. Your paycheck will come directly from the Registry.

    A: No, it is not true that you could work as an immigrant Registered Nurse in the USA without passing the TOEFL/TWE; TSE and having a Visa Screen Certificate. During your interview at the American Embassy and prior to issuance of an immigrant visa, you will be required to present a Visa Screen Certificate. Before you are issued a Visa Screen Certificate, you are required to pass the TOEFL/TWE and TSE.

    Q. Some of my friends who have not taken the CGFNS exam are planning to take the NCLEX-RN. Can you work in the USA as a licensed registered nurse without passing the CGFNS exam? top
    A: Yes, you can work in the USA as a licensed registered nurse without passing the CGFNS exam. While most State Board of Nursing require that you pass the CGFNS exam prior to taking their NCLEX-RN, there are a number of State Board of Nursing that do not require passing the CGFNS exam like Florida, California and Texas.

    Q. My sister is a naturalized American citizen. Five years ago she has filed a petition for me to become an immigrant to the USA. Will her petition affect the petition your hospital will file on my behalf? top
    A: No, her petition will have no effect on the petition filed by the hospital on your behalf.

    Q. I presently have a multiple entry tourist visa for the USA, will this affect the petition your hospital will file on my behalf? top
    A: No, your current tourist visa will have no effect on the immigration petition that will be filed by the hospital on your behalf.
